"Golf breaks for the established golfer"

INFORMATION AND BOOKING CONDITIONS

1. Dress code and golf etiquette
*
All golf courses enforce a dress code that usually consists of shirts with collars, tailored shorts or trousers and no denims. Appropriate dress should be worn at all times on the course and in the clubhouse.
* Some, but not all, golf courses will require handicap certificates to be presented before play. Some will require players to have handicap certificates but not necessarily require the certificate to be presented whilst others will simply require confirmation that all golfers are established players, have their own clubs, equipment and attire and understand the etiquette of the game. If in doubt please check with a UK Golf Holidays representative.
* Golf clubs may refuse access to the course if they judge that any individual does not display the required level of competence or if they are inappropriately dressed. UK Golf Holidays (UKGH) will accept no responsibility for any ruling by the golf club if any person(s) is/are unable to play due to improper dress or standard of play.

2. Venue Information
*
Although UKGH will provide you with as much information as possible about the hotels and courses some changes regarding the venue, condition, standard and facilities may not be available at the time of booking or occur without notice thereafter. Although UKGH will endeavor to keep clients informed about changes, it cannot be held responsible for the effect of the changes on the golf holiday.

3. Winter/General Weather Conditions and Course Maintenance
*
As bad weather is inevitable during certain times of the year, courses may be closed or operate temporary green/tees at their discretion. Green fees relating to golf played on temporary greens and/or tees are non-refundable and is considered as an accepted part of playing golf. If due to inclement conditions and/or course closure, you/your group are unable to play golf due to a golf club ruling, UKGH will endeavor to obtain refund, partial refund or credit vouchers for the golf that is effected within your package.
* Hollow tining, aeration, slit tining and general course maintenance on tees, fairways and greens are an essential feature of golf course preparation. This work will, in part, be dependant on prevailing weather conditions and UKGH cannot be held responsible for the impact of such work on the condition of the golf course(s) played.
* Any decisions regarding refunds or green fees are at the discretion of the golf club and are final.

4. Confirmation
*
Enquiries are considered provisional until UKGH receive confirmation of availability from the hotel(s) / golf course(s) / transport company. The itinerary will then be confirmed on a booking authorisation form, containing a unique 5 digit confirmation number which will be sent to the lead name of the party. When this is signed, dated and received with the appropriate deposit, the booking is confirmed.
* The booking is now secure and only subject to change in exceptional circumstances and as governed by information received from the hotel(s) and/or course(s).
* The deposit received by UKGH will be paid to the hotels and courses that constitute the golf holiday and copies of their confirmations will be sent, for information, to the lead name of the party.

5. Tee Times
*
UKGH will endeavour to confirm your requested tee time. However, courses do reserve the right to alter preferred tee times and if this should happen UKGH will arrange the nearest possible tee time for our clients.

6. Terms of payment
*
Deposit: A deposit, per 4 above, is payable at a rate of £50 per person.
* Payment of balance: The balance is to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival as this will allow enough time for pre-paid vouchers to be sent to the lead name of the party. If the balance is not received by the due date then UKGH reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.
* Full payment is required for bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival.
* Payments may be made by credit card (2% surcharge for AMEX and Diners Club cards), debit card, cash or by cheque payable to Welsh Golfing Holidays.

•  Cancellations and Amendments
* Cancellation by the client following deposit payment but prior to payment of balance.
Courses and hotels have a no refund policies in those circumstances where clients wish to cancel in entirety. UKGH will, however, use its best endeavours to amend bookings where numbers have reduced or dates wish to be changed.
* Cancellation by the client following payment of balance.
By definition this occurs within a 6 week period from the commencement of the golf break and as such refunds cannot be made. Again, UKGH will use its best endeavours to either transfer the break or make partial refund or credit. No guarantees will be made in this respect and the outcome will be determined by the individual hotel(s) and course(s).
* Cancellation by UKGH or their hotel/course suppliers. In these circumstances refunds/credits will be made.
* Amendments. Ammendments to group bookings are always subject to availability. Prices may change.
