The Vale Hotel, Golf & Spa Resort is set amongst over 600 acres of beautiful parkland surrounding Hensol, just off junction 34 of the M4. It is easily accessible from the east and the west. It is only 20 minutes from Cardiff.
The resort benefits from 2 championship courses, The Lake course which has been the headquarters of the Welsh PGA and, opened in 2003, The Wales National Course.
The courses present a stern test of golf to golfers of all abilities with water
hazards and undulating and treelined fairways throught. The Wales National course, designed by Peter Johnson, is a very long course indeed at over 7300
yards from the back tees and its a contender for the Solheim Cup. Greens constructed to USGA standards.
