Course Introduction and Description:
Vale of Llangollen Golf Club is a picturesque parkland course that runs along the River
Dee.
Founded in 1908 and with a par 5 to open and a par 3 to close you are assured of an
interesting and challenging test of golf. All aspects of your
game will be tested as each hole presents a different challenge with
some left to right doglegs, others with right to left and some with
elevated tees or greens!
The aptly named "River Hole" is the 9th and is the signature hole at
stroke index 1 on the men's card. A flat course with water, out of bounds and tree lined fairways...no
wonder it is a popular venue for top amateur events.
