Course Introduction and Description:
Clevedon Golf Club is set high above the banks of the Severn Estuary.
Golf has been played on the current site upon the old Castle Farm since 1898. Starting in the early 90's the course saw some major changes with the introduction of 5 new holes, and the construction of 18 U.S.G.A. specifications greens to meet the demands of golf into the 21st century.
The course provides an excellent test for all standards of golfer with a length of 6557 yards, Par 72, SSS 72. Recent changes to the playing order of the course means the new starting hole is now at the rear of the Clubhouse, the longest par 4 on the course. Played downhill to a 3 tiered green, this is a great introduction to the challenges that lie ahead.
The remaining 9 holes on the first loop continues the parkland feel to the course as it prepares you for our signature Castle Hole, the 8th. With the tee over 200 feet above the fairway!
